During my recent stay at Hostal El Pinzon, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and well-stocked kitchen. The host was incredibly helpful in providing directions and even arranged a taxi for us. The location was convenient, just a few blocks away from the main stretch of Puerto Ayora. Despite the noise from a nearby playground, the AC in our room helped drown out the sounds. The affordability of this hostel was definitely a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel for its simplicity and value.

I highly recommend staying in this hostel for those wanting to be close to the beach. The location is perfect, with the front garden providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. it is conveniently located near the Charles Darwin Centre, allowing easy access to explore the natural wonders of the Galapagos Islands. The shared room is modest but comfortable, with a nice shower and a well-equipped kitchen. The host is extremely accommodating and provides helpful tips and recommendations for everything to do in the area.
The towels provided are thin and there is a limited amount of storage space for luggage in the room.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helped us with organizing tours and transportation. They provided pick-ups for activities and had a well-equipped kitchen and free drinking water. The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot.
Felt fine, nothing to complain about.

The hostel is located very close to the beach and commercial area, making it an ideal location for those who want to be near the action. The beds in the rooms are comfortable and showers have hot water. Some rooms even have unique decor, such as wall sculptures of Galapagos creatures. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.
There have been reports of noise issues, as some guests leave early in the morning, slamming doors and being inconsiderate of those still sleeping.

The guest kitchen was really useful, we could store and cook our own food easily. Plus there was free drinking water available all the time. The owner was so friendly and provided us with helpful maps. The beds were also very comfortable and we appreciated having air conditioning in the room. the location was great as we could get around to the main attractions quickly.
The WiFi was slow, but that seems to be a common issue on the islands. Some rooms did not have proper ventilation, so our clothes and wet suits stayed damp.

The free bike rental and free water were fantastic perks. The location was great, just a short walk away from the main street. We loved the cooking facilities, perfect for making meals on a budget. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. the value for money was excellent and we were pleased with our stay.
The only negative aspect was the cleanliness of the kitchen, but this was due to some inconsiderate guests not cleaning up after themselves. The staff did their best to keep the kitchen clean and tidy, but unfortunately, they were let down by other guests.
